I’ve been dying for a beach day, so I decided to try this out. It’s a nice little (and I mean LITTLE) sand beach area with a roped off designated swimming area attached. There is currently loud construction going on (even on a Saturday?!) about a block or two behind the forest, so that’s not ideal, but it is a lovely little spot. The sand feels like beach sand. Kind of debris all over, but that’s to be expected at a lake beach I guess.
