Went there to see the FALL LEAVES fall but they had already fallen. We were blown away at how much damage a horrific tornado did to the park three months ago BUT more blown away at how quickly things are getting back to normal! We stayed in the Lodge and highly recommend it!!! Everyone that we encountered were so nice and helpful. Even the food in the restaurant for lunch and dinner was great! Breakfast was a continental breakfast but probably the worst we’ve ever been to. I would have paid for a good country breakfast but understood they are still understaffed. Ask for Room 317 - fabulous!! The state park is huge but very easily mapped. We definitely are going back♥️
