Awesome campground, lots of sites but only 30 with electric. Makes reservations difficult but such is the case with most federal campgrounds. Have stayed 4-5 times and having the river and a running trail right out your door is awesome. Walking down to town is a couple miles, nice walk with dog. Quite. Have not looked at restrooms/showers but my wife said their fine. Very quiet place with little cell reception if any but not their fault. About 20min over to Dupont so not bad, lots of trails around, maybe 15min up to Pisgah Inn.
