Motorcycles beware: you will have to cross a section of road under water, 6 inches maybe day I went. Heavy rain could make this problematic. Sites are big. But run down with weed and washed out in many places. Pit toilet was worst I've seen. If you have little kids I would want them using it. No ranger, no host, never saw sheriff. Could see it getting really rowdy there depending on who shows. That being said, it's cheap and was part of the adventure.
The place is really clean it has bathrooms view is wonderful , nice campsites but if you come here during spring be ready because the place is almost floated , like driving into the campsite. You have to cross a river !!! and it’s like a meter deep so if you have a small car I don’t recommend you driving to this place or do you have a motorcycle if you have a big truck and you have 4 x 4 your chances are better but it’s very risky.
Loved this Campground! We was one of three campers here but it was like we was alone. Great camp spots, has a fire ring, picnic table & a hook for a lantern or trash. This site, (#7), is right on the lake with plenty of space. I really wished we had been able to spend more than a night here but we was on our way back & had picked it at random. What a lucky find!! We will definitely be returning. The site was $15 at a self serve station at the front of the Campground. They also have a pit style bathroom, one men's and the other womens as well as a spicket and trashcan.
