Great little park, will visit again . We had 6 in our party some of us drove 6-7 hours to stay here.

The mangers were great, in spite of a disrespectfully party.

However, the restrooms were not cleaned at all the whole time we were there. Our stay was 3 nights!!

Great access to the lake boat ramp as well!

Great place to stay, nice and quiet and the campground host was very friendly and hospitable. We ended up staying an extra night and were the only ones in the campground-perks of camping thru the week instead of a weekend. Bathrooms and showers were clean but no A/C so mornings are best. Close to the lake for fishing or boat launch but for swimming Brown Beach is about 2 miles away and a great place to spend the day. Picnic table, pavilion, fire pit, electric and water hook-ups but no septic at the camp sites (dump station) and we were a bit disappointed that the advertised wi-fi was non existent. However we did have phone signal with T-mobile, Cricket and Family mobile which was surprising. The town of Bullshoals has a grocery store, a few places to eat and is conveniently close. Had a great time here and will be back again!

We reserved & utilized two adjacent sites the Easter holiday weekend of 2022 & appreciated our stay, including location, amenities and accommodation.

Reservations were difficult with the city recently assuming responsibility for this campground, to include incremental renovations, improvements and adjustments to accommodations. Our initial day coincided with the season opening day of 4/15.

Recent storm debris still required some addressing including other minior maintenance, but overall our sites and the amenities were accommodating, including a couple of centralized camp restroom/shower facilities, that maintenance staff addressed while we were there.

We're mostly independent of camp host, so the absence of on-site personnel wasn't an issue for us, especially with invitations and access to limited complimentary firewood.

One important aspect to our stay included the patrolling of the loop by city law enforcement (Dustin), which proved to be professional, courteous, and acted above and beyond to accommodate us when keys were locked inside of a towed vehicle.

The city is still developing the department that will manage this campsite, so patience is necessary, yet when questions arose a very friendly and considerate, management level, member of the city (Tina) personally drove to our site to greet us and answer questions to make clear that our stay was important to them, despite any transitional imperfections that may be evident. This contributed greatly to our sense of safety and being more comfortable with our surroundings. We were well informed of local places of interest including extended accommodations.

The location is situated nicely adjacent to a very nice boat ramp and a clear running creek. It is also adjacent to a neighborhood at the outer edge of town. The children's central playground is modern and maintained. Many sites are equipped with nice concrete picnic tables that are covered with a large pavilion adjacent to the pad and hook-ups, including a nice grill fire-pit with a small accommodating concrete preparation table. Despite the lack of sewer hook-ups, 50amp & water are available, with an adjacent fully accommodating dump station conveniently located beside the entrance along with a trash dumpster station.

This location is beside the lake, about a mile from the Dam, area Visitor Center and close to other points of interest, such as boat marinas, stores, etc.

We appreciated the lack of crowding and the typical applicable noises and other occasional intrusions. The small-town friendliness and eagerness to accommodate our stay is reason enough for us to seriously consider utilizing this campground again for a longer stay, and hopefully include things like jet-skis, kayaks, canoes, paddle-boards, inner tubes or especially a boat or our motorcycles.

Thank you, City of Bull Shoals. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 😁👌
