Giving it five stars as it is very pleasant and relaxing (except for what is mentioned at the end). Great views and a hilarious cast of characters on most weekends. Wonderful, but it bit odd bar keepers who apparently live next door. Ordered a Hamm's beer off the beer list and they have me a cold plate of ham and sauerkraut??!! Didn't find it overly kid friendly. The pontoon rides are fantastic! 😎 Only negative is there is a LOUD jet boat that is constantly racing by and thru the channel😠
Lovely place with a great view of the lake. Pride in ownership shines throughout in the very tastefully decorated guest room and overall cabin decor. Owners/mgt are welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed the guided kayak tour and pontoon rides. I would have liked to see a two seater outhouse as there was an occasional line however given the overall charm did not deduct that in our rating. Upon arrival we were offered a cold beer but did find the “house beer” to be a little more earthy than my liking so I switched to Hamm’s after that. Bar staff was very friendly and welcoming. Much like a previous poster we did notice some noise from the neighboring cabin, couldn’t distinguish if it was a jet boat or not but could sense a lot of hot air. Overall a lovely experience in the north woods. Would highly recommend to friends and family.
