Nice pool, great views of the lake. The cabin was a bit less remembering. Cabin needs to be updated. Floors aren't level, the doors don't open all the way. Nice open space.

The owners were very friendly and hard working. Cabin nice and clean. Only complaints would be water was very irony and water

pressure in shower was minimal. Make sure to bring lots of bottled water and grill utensils, otherwise, kitchen has everything. Pool clean, playground nice, some yard games. Will be going back. Very family oriented. Caught lots of fish off dock and from boat. Beautiful sunsets to boot. Alexandria is about 15 miles away and has a Walmart, grocery stores and anything else you are looking for. Huge bait shop too. The resort carries a lot of stuff as well. Bait, ice, firewood and I'm sure more.

Love this place!!! We have had 8 years of family vacations here (now 9) and will have at least 8 (9) more as long as Theresa and Raf still run it. Also, if you need an animal, two of the eight times we've vacationed here we have left with a super sweet, really great family pet because the place is so great animals find their way there and never leave. Well until we come through.

This place was not as advertised. The pictures must have been taken many years ago and it has dramatically declined over the years. The RV area is mostly made up of what looks like permanent residences. The site that we had was very hard to get into and the fire pit was a rusted out, dangerous mess. There is no beach area for swimming, only a dangerously steep dock. The “store/lodge” is apparently not open for the year. Bottom line, don’t waste your precious vacation time here!

Staying here for the week. Our cabin is fully furnished, with plentiful kitchen supplies. Anything else needed is located at the office less than .25 of a mile away. Helpful dock attendant. Patio chairs provided. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms which is nice because the air conditioning is a window unit installed (but sufficiently cools). Grill and fire ring provided. The road is not busy, and the staff are attentive. We agree on four stars because of the tap water, which contains a lot of iron, and has tinted the water (fixtures and shower curtain too) to a brown hue. You can order wood at the office, and the boats and lift are great rentals.
