Our family was there 15 years only because of the campers around us. Definitely is not a friendly family campground as the site and signs say. She loves to be kind to new people but quickly turns on you after you have paid the fee. Several people over the years have rented spots but left before their time was up, because of the very unwelcome behavior she gives them. I felt very bad leaving our friends behind but, soon realized how relaxing it was not being told how replaceable you are every weekend there. Good luck to those friends of ours that are still there .........
Nice family owned campground. The signs about the privately owned property and no guests were a little excessive and not welcoming (we didn’t have guests and never intended to but were put off by the signs). The grounds are beautiful but the bath house could use some updating. Didn’t fish so can not comment on lake.
Was also put off after asking if there is WiFi available being told no, but to “enjoy my family”. While I 100% agree with this and that it is nice to unplug when enjoying the great outdoors, I brought my laptop because I had work to do. I used my hotspot on my phone which worked, but I didn’t appreciate the condescending tone.
Don't trust anything you see on their website. We went out of our way to stop by and inquire about camping.
Their website lists weekly rates. Not true... They are seasonal only!
I hope the manage there campground better than their website.
This is not your standard trailer park campground. The mature trees and spacious campsites really set this park apart. The new owners have been here for just over a year and are incredibly warm and welcoming. This is a great place to get away while feeling like you are only .3” from home.
