Great little campground with the river surrounding it. They have a small trail system around the campground to check it out. Plenty of other areas to explore near by as well!
Less than a dozen designated Camp spots, with less than half of those being actually on the river itself. However, that makes for a more private camping experience with respectable distance in between each camp site. Park access passes required at certain times of the year, please check for regulations ahead of time.

This is the most beautiful free campground that my husband and I have been to. Peace and quiet, the forest is so beautiful. Friendly camp Host. Great place to relax for seven days.
Beautiful spot. The sounds of the river were relaxing. Nice short hiking trails. Convenient water spigots all around. My dogs also enjoyed their stay.
We have had great experiences every visit to this campground. Peaceful camping along the river and a lovely walk out to beach. It’s small so not a lot of spots but that also means it’s usually pretty quiet.
