It is a great lake to just take a quick swim in. Or kayaking and paddle boarding is fun too. And as far as fishing goes, just fly fishing is acceptable

My family has camped and fished here since the 70's. Like everywhere development has happened so there are several houses on the lake so you can no longer walk around the entire shoreline. I hope the turtles are still there but didn't see any last summer. Definitely lots of changes and no longer off the beaten path where you could spend a couple weeks camping in VW Busses and see no one except the guy feeding his cows on occasion.
