From US hwy 54 at Logan, NM. Turn west on NM hwy 540 and go west approximately 2 miles. Turn left at the park main entrance to enter the north area campground.
A true Dark Sky experience! Nice level 70' pull throughs. Some back ins closer to the water with trees. Two other loops for tent camping and a group site with Rv hookups. Restroom buildings look modern, but I did go inside.
This is the best and most beautiful lake we have been to in NM. Absolutely love it everytime we go. A must visit lake for New Mexicans and everyone coming to NM.
Mine Canyon on the south side of the lake is the cleanest, most beautiful lake I've been too. Well taken care of and very natural.
