What an incredible service for Katy Trail cyclists! Accommodations are very basic but it's a great option for bike travelers.
Great place to stay overnight, the only place to get food beer etc is 1 mile north of Mokane at dollar general on hwy C , or 20 miles to Jeff city or 40 miles to Herman
Great place to stay on the Katy trail. Couldn’t purchase food in this small town, so arrive ready to cook for yourself. It had two functioning showers and two functioning toilets. The bunk beds are mostly in two big rooms. There is a small room with a few beds upstairs, but you’ll need to navigate stairs during the night if you want to go to the bathroom. There is a great place to store your bikes. The cost is $20 per person on the honor system, as there is no staff running the place.
This is a free standing trail angel absolutely amazing this exists!!! Nice bunks, AC, flushing toilets, fridge, coffee maker, microwave!!! Showers!!! Ice to ice those quads after a long day just wow beat 10 dollars I've spent in a long time!!! Also Rachel does the trail meals brought an amazing breakfast quickly!! Highly recommend giving her a call!!!
