The campground offers two group sites that can accommodate up to 30 people and six vehicles each. Site 1 is for tent and RV camping, while site 2 is designated for tent camping only.
From Interstate 80 West, take exit 158B to Laing Road, and from Interstate 80 East, take Exit 158 to Emigrant Gap Road. Turn south on Emigrant Gap Road and continue less than a mile, to where the road turns into Texas Hill Road. Follow the road for approximately 7 miles, using caution, as it is narrow. Proceed to the campground.
Close to a small creek where you can have play in the water with kids some areas are deeper than others
It was a great group camping spot, deep inside the woods, flowing water stream right beside this spot. Restrooms were not maintained well, looked unhygienic.
Beware that there will be no network coverage after you take the exit off highway 80. Offline maps are recommended.
