About Campground

Tugboat's Place is a family owned and operated Restaurant and RV park owned by Justin (Tugboat) and Tina Harris. Welcome to Tugboat's Place and RV Park..you may ask why the name Tugboat? Tugboat was the nickname given to Justin Harris back when he was in his early 20's and it just seem to stick.

Tugboat's Place is a small campground with a family atmosphere, we have 17 sites with full hook-ups 30/50, electric, water, sewer.

We also have a handicap accessible shower/bathroom, our sites have plenty of trees in a quite, friendly neighborhood and we also have a full service restaurant just steps from your RV, We are located in the heart of the Ozarks, we are less than 2 miles from the Madison County Wildlife management area (McIlroy) which offers Hunting, hiking, exploring caves, and just 15 miles from Eureka Springs and all it has to offer.

We are just a few miles from access to the Kings River and about 30 minutes from Beaver lake.

Every time I've been in here I've been greeted by friendly people and have never been let down by the great food they have. You can never go wrong with the catfish or chicken fried steak. Piggy fries are to die for! I tried the coconut cream pie tonight... Yummy!!

It's a little out of the way, but the food was great and the price very low. The menu is pretty simple with mostly burgers and chicken strips, but very good. I had one of the best chicken fried steaks I have ever had. It cut easily with a fork. I have 3 picky kids and each loved what they ate. And the chocolate fried pie I had was great, too.

The food was really tasty. I am not a fan of catfish, but theirs is really good! The beans were very savory and had just the right consistency. The sweet tea was almost like Grandma's.

The people were super nice and very accommodating of me being fickle.

My compadre ordered the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes and gravy... It was the bomb!

It is worthwhile to drive out, or if you find yourself zipping along hwy 23, stop in! Sit and relax. It will refresh your soul. Love the people and the place!
