Dispersed camping located on Tieton Pond offering RV and tent sites.
Highway 12 to milepost 152. Turn onto Forest Service Road 1304, follow to campground.
This place should be 5 stars but to much garbage and spray painted rocks.
Nice and quiet very small pond among a forest setting. If your aspecting a large lake you will be disappointed but if a small pond is what your looking for it is a beautiful place. Have fished for trout a couple times but never caught anything. They have dispersed camping sites as well. Have gone twice, once was packed with people and the second time was only saw one other family.
Basically a fishing spot with camping. A number of game trails welcome exploring. Unfortunately, there is a lot of litter around. The further you go away from the pond the better. A number of roads in the area but saw only one vehicle. A decent area to go for a quick walk in the woods but nothing to write home about.
