I can’t say a bad thing about our experience. The room was just as advertised, the views are breathtaking. Our pup loved swimming in all the different swimming holes throughout the trails. There’s plenty of opportunity to socialize with others or get out and do your own thing. Truly a one of a kind experience
I am not a good writer, but definitely will agree with all previous reviews. This place is definitely a heaven for dogs and nice vacation spot for dogs owners. It was our first visit and my pup actually got depressed a little when we got back home. Definitely will try to go back. Worth every penny you pay for the stay. And if you are there definitely come out at nigh when sky is clear. We got to see Milky Way, sky full of stars and even meteor shower.
Emerald Glen is literally dog heaven. We spent a long weekend at this bucolic paradise and have never seen our dogs happier. There are so many thoughtful touches all around the property (which is HUGE), from balls, water bowls, toys, beach chairs for humans near the beautiful river that runs around the property, bonfire pit, outdoor cooking, showers, bathrooms, every possible outdoor/camping luxury was provided.
We stayed in the New Vision RV which was spacious, very clean, and very comfortable (comes with a king bed!).
There is no other place like Emerald Glen, this place is truly one of a kind. Please go visit soon with your pups, you will have the MOST amazing time.

This was my 15th or 16th year vacationing here. Definitely the best birthday present to myself and the greatest way to spend it. The Emerald Glen Getaway is one of the best places where you can take your dogs and let them be dogs and be free of the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The trails are very well maintained as is everything else. And everyone is friendly and kind. If you like nature and spending time with your dogs this is the place for you.
Emerald Glen Getaway is clearly the best place imaginable for us to be with our dog. He is so very happy there and just seems to feels like the world is his and he can enjoy every minute. The grounds are beautiful and very special. The creek makes it perfect for dogs to enjoy swimming, drinking good, clean water or watching fish. The beach areas have relaxing comfortable chairs so the adults can enjoy watching the dogs play! I would VERY HIGHLY recommend Emerald Glen Getaway and will plan to return every year!
