While much of the Forest is open to dispersed camping, there are several sites set aside as designated dispersed camping sites, listed below. Pick up or download a free Motor Vehicle Use Map to know where it is legal to drive. See Guidelines for information and policies, and Specific Sites for more details and contact information.
Know before you go! Be aware extreme winter weather or flooding risks can necessitate the closure of forest roads at different times of the year. Many forest roads that lead to dispersed campsites may be closed during seasonal road closures, so please check the Forest Road Status web page for more information about the status of forest roads in each District.
Fire restrictions may be in place. During fire restrictions, campfires, fires, and charcoal fires are not permitted in dispersed camping areas. This includes both Stage 1 and Stage 2 Fire Restrictions. Gas operated devices with an on/off switch are allowed.
Recommend for the convenience and their willingness to assist you all along the way. Employees encountered surprised me by being friendly and helpful. Everyone kept their cool and kept everyone moving in a positive direction. They kept track of what they and you would need proactively. The shuttles were clean and timely. The employees were welcoming. We will use them again. I recommend The Parking Spot to you.
They run over cones, block traffic, and rarely get out to help with you bag. Preflight parking is where it's at
When ever I am flying, I always choose the Parking Spot. Always great service.
If I was basing my rating on management's attitude, it would be a 2-Star Review. But the service itself is good. Good price. Safe lot. Friendly bus drivers. The manager Vince was rather rude to me on the phone. Had an issue with the online reservation system not allowing me to pay in advance, which Vince admitted was a technical problem. This issue was going to result in me having to pay upwards of $40 extra. Vince told me there was "nothing he could do about it". A rather shocking statement coming from the manager whose full name and number is the only one listed on the website. Seems like he would be the one person who CAN do something about it. It wasn't until I kept pressing Vince that he offered a solution. When I expressed that I wish we wouldn't have had such a hostile conversation before reaching this solution, he told me that I WAS THE ONLY ONE being hostile. Even if true, that is a hideous way to handle conflict resolution. I will continue to use The Parking Spot because it is a good business. But that was a disappointing experience for sure.
The Parking Spot was something I was glad to have come across for my business travels. I'm not a fan of driving to the airport where crazy driving gets more crazy and Sky Harbor sees a lot of crazy.
I was fine with the service and location and the app was helpful in tracking your bus. The drivers had been good enough. The reason why I'm leaving them is due to a lack of security. Please look at the pictures as my vehicle was struck in a park spot. They do NOT HAVE CAMERAS NOR SECURITY. I called the office to ask when I discovered my fresh dent and scratch from an a-hole driver. What I got, "we can't afford cameras at this time. You can have your insurance to call us, but nothing else can be done". LOL, I wasn't really laughing people. What I hope is while they will have customers, keep in mind if you care about your vehicle, choose a place where they have more security(any) or at least wide stalls so bad drivers/parkers might not hit your car and run off like a MF criminal. Parking Spot, you loss a regular customer for this, good riddance.
