Nice camping cabin situated by a small catch n release pond with fountain. The nicest staff ensure your stay is comfortable. This KOA provides linen and pillows for their rustic cabins, unlike other KOAs. Also included is a microwave and a refrigerator! Love this place!
Pretty good KOA, stayed in the cabin for several nights with kids and dogs. Pros: nice roomy cabins; good dogs areas; there are small river and lake where you can fish; good green in many parts; store; recreation room with games; swimming pool; playground; Walmart in Sallisaw. Cons: Sallisaw is pretty small town; 1h+ drive to Tulsa; cabins are old with old stuff without dishwasher; not much to do at KOA in the rainy days; very weak WiFi.
Traveling on I-40, this convenient campground/resort was exceptional. Clean and well-maintained, our gravel site was flat, level and long with plenty of side yard. Lots of activities in summer, nice amenities (including cable tv) and very friendly staff. Tiny houses/cabins look inviting and are immaculate. For those with dogs, there are dedicated spots with shades dog fences. Our go-to as we go cross-country!
I would rate this park a "10" if I could. Beautiful, quiet, secluded and clean. most of all, we arriv d on the evening of a holiday and though they were closed, Nicole came out to the park and filled our propane tanks for us. She went above and beyond to make sure that we did not spend a cold evening in our RV and we were so grateful for her going above and beyond. What a beautiful young woman and incredible employee!!! We will certainly stay at this park if we ever come through this area again! Thank you KOA
My brother was on his way from Georgia to Kansas and stopped for a couple of days so we could visit. The facilities are great, bathrooms are spotless. It would be nice to have a grill at each site, otherwise very nice place.
