We decided to go to Saunderosa Park on a whim. I googled family friendly campsites in the area and happened upon them. We will be returning year after year. We have found our new camping location. We stayed in the cabin and it was clean and well stocked. The mini golf course was well maintained. Everyone was so friendly! There was so much to do. The catch and release pond was stocked with a variety of fish. We can't wait to return!!
What a great campground to bring your family. Kids of all ages love this place, they have so much to do. There are a lot of permanent sites that are very well kept. The best I have ever seen. Located between two mountains in a valley. Very scenic. About 70 transient sites that fill up every weekend with families and lots of kids. This is a multi generational family owned and operated campground that takes great pride in what they do. We travel full time in our RV and this year have spent 4 out of the 6 months they are open here and have loved every minute of our stay. We will come back to this place year after year.
One of my Favorite campgrounds . Amazing location and tons of Friendly people, employees and pets
Around 25 years ago , we lived in waynesboro , pennsylvania and used to go to Saunderosa faithfully. My wife and I finally got another motor home. And we were just there this past summer of 2023
And just like it was back then. It is still the same. It is an awesome campground. By the way, we live south of Annapolis Maryland now. And we just can't wait for the summer of 2024. To all the good people who run the camp ground. We will see you this summer. 😉😉
