Located in Macon right off I-75 exit 160A south bound or exit 160 north bound.
As we pulled into the campground late yesterday, the manager met us in the drive and walked us directly into this nice, quiet spot for the night. He helped us set up, and we were all done in a few minutes. This campground provided just want we wanted. It was $28 for the night, immaculately maintained grounds, ample privacy, and so much space to walk our 3 Jack Russells. A Piggly Wiggly is two blocks away along with a Dollar Tree. A new Bojangles is just off the entrance to the campground, and an easy walk. Multiple other fast food places are very close. In the past, we have always stayed at Walmart in Macon. But, with all the new signs saying no trailers or trucks, plus how busy the store is, we much preferred having a restful night in a beautiful, rural campground.
The RV park is quiet for the most part, over all the services here are pretty sweet. The managers do their best to help you out and are understanding and will work with you to a certain extent. They help you park your RV and are very welcoming. They do not tolerate drug abuse or the disruption of peace within the park, actions are taken accordingly. Dolly and John do their best to maintain and keep the entire living space clean and peaceful. 1000000/10 recommend staying here for a while. ♥️🧡💛💚💙💜
Wow. This place has so many treasures. The large development has space available for RV enthusiasts, tiny home seekers, and traditional living quarters. I was thoroughly impressed of how it has transitioned from a ran down eye sure after the hurricane and now to a Blossoming landscape that will continue to accommodate people who desire a secluded but constantly improving living area. Its right off the highway and based on the owners vision will be beautiful green friendly space with live animals, more water frontage, community gardens, and newly built children and dog parks. This place future is bright and I can't wait too see what it has in store. Very impressive grounds..
We were very pleased with our overnight stay. Spacious pull-through sites with 50 / 30 / 20 amp service, appears to be newly upgraded electrical. Water and sewer. Our drive took longer than expected, and the friendly proprietor drove out at 11:15 PM to meet us at the gate, guide us to our site, and make sure we knew how everything worked. They also have a pretty clean bath house with 2 private bathrooms. The shower had good hot water and great water pressure. There were also coin laundry machines which we didn’t use.
The electric and water hookups seemed new. The park overall was adequate. We didn't go far because we had our dog and did not feel-good leaving her for too long. However, we did not feel safe. We stayed 3 nights. It was very convenient to downtown and had a great experience. Macon was a very nice place to visit. We visited the Hay House. Found some great restaurants within 3 miles. The area outside the park was a very disturbing sight and did not look safe at all. We were the only travelers there. Seemed like the park was just a mobile home park where most of the residents were long term. The gate was broken or not being used. I would have felt better had the gate worked. The "office" was a dump if it was even the office??? Someone met us when we turned in and helped us to our spot. to each his own. As much as we enjoyed Macon, I would never stay here again. It needs work and lots of security.
