EXIT 156 off I-44 If you took the East bound exit, turn left, cross the overpass, and go to 2nd traffic light and turn right onto Historic Route 66. Go approximately 2 miles, you will see Kinderhook Public Library on the left hand side of the road, then a florist shop, and then a sign for the Campground. Turn left at the sign and follow the road back in to the campground. If you took the West bound exit, turn right, go to 2nd traffic light and turn right onto Historic Route 66. Great little campground right in town. Walk to restaurants, shops and park. Real nice place to visit.
Haven't experienced the campground, but love the Farmers market. The Medicare man is there every Saturday to answer questions and get you setup.
Great little city run RV park… has all needed utilities and hookups, but has no amenities… the park appears to be a seasonal park with lots of long term residents… we stayed one night as a place to sleep with a quick run to Fort Lenardwood. commissary for supplies..
Today was the Patriots Day Festival. It was pretty cool. I think the kids loved the face painting!
This is a different kind of basic campground. It has full hookups, but the campground itself is mostly Rock. There is a decent amount of space between sites. There are no other facilities in the park. A few sites have a fire pit, but none have a picnic table. The greatest thing about it is that it is only $20 per night. This makes it good for just an overnight stay. I would stay again when passing through.
