Great campsite above the reservoir. The sites are clean and well maintained. The toilets and showers are some of cleanest I've encountered. They'll provide a hammock frame at no cost (if avaliable) to help save the trees on site. It has several hiking trails with a viewing deck. Would definitely go back.
Great hosts, nice quiet campground with lots of space between neighbors. The views from the overlooks were amazing!
Quick 12 hour stay after driving the million dollar highway. Bathrooms/showers were clean. Laundry service worked great. Went swimming down at the day use area as the lake/reservoir is not quite accessible from Elk Ridge.
Elk ridge campground was a perfect spot to camp after spending a few nights in the mountains. Was able to stop by and shower(for free) early in the day. I had tent site 159. Was close enough of a walk to parking lot where it wasn’t a hassle at all with bear bins at every site. They also had plenty of water spickets to fill water jugs. The views were amazing when on evening walk. Swim beach looked decent but I never went to it. I would for sure come back if wanting a campground with showers.
