Let me start by saying everyone who worked at Punkin Center was real nice and this is not about them. The primitive camp sites were ok and sort of level but for 10 dollars a night what do I expect. Well I expect there not to be trash everywhere. I know they just had rumble on the dragon rally the week before but there is time to get things straightened up. One other thing I expect is to know who works there. I paid a girl with a baby cash for my stay in what I think is the bar. There is no office. Maybe have some staff t-shirts. The bathroom in the bar had showers in it and it was very clean. I don't mind loud music and the band Friday night Barn Yard Stomp was great and free. but you have to shut things down at some point say by at least midnight. My stay was fine really no complaints other than the trash. It just could be better..

I didn't actually stay in the cabin. I'm a local who visited for the BBQ, which was fantastic. This was my very first visit to the campground. It was raining and muddy. I slipped and fell on my behind. Sheri and Jody ran out to help me up and make sure I wasn't hurt. Sheri then offered to give me a pair of her jeans so that I wouldn't have to get into my car with muddy, wet pants. What business owner do you know that would offer you their own personal clothes to keep you comfy and your car clean? The food was amazing and area clean.

Family owned, great food, nice little cabins. We had a great time listening to the bands on Friday and Saturday night. There is no cover charge for the show which was a bonus! We stayed in a couples cabin and it was perfect for the 2 of us! Good price for the cabin to ourselves, we would have paid more for a hotel room in the city.

Best stay ever! Sheri and Jody are awesome. Very welcoming, helpful, kind and awesome hospitality. We stayed in Cabin 7. It was very clean, everything you need provided for you. I text Sheri when we were about an hour out and she took out the time to turn the a/c on in the room (without asking her to), so when we got there it was nice and cool, which was refreshing after being on the bike in 100 degree heat all day. We got in late and even though she had already closed the kitchen, she asked if we wanted/needed anything. Had a great time with their daughter making animals out of modeling clay, and sitting on the porch sharing stories and making conversation. We were worried we weren't going to fit all of our souvenirs on the bike for the return trip home, and she offered to mail them for us. I could keep going with how amazing the owners are! We will definitely be staying again next time we are down there! A+++++!

Great place to stay while you enjoy riding the tail of the dragon and surrounding areas. Cabins were clean inside and out and in great shape. Great restaurant on site that served us until we were ready to go back. Not just the food and beer good but the conversations/connections with the owners really settled it for us. we will be staying here each year from now on. Very motorcycle friendly!
