Drive to 142 Martin road and park on the left side of the driveway (should be a sign).

This is such a great spot! A nice, quiet little cove on Lake Murray. The dock was such a great spot to hang out and fish! So many amenities! A nice canoe or kayak to use, fish cleaning station, an amazing fire pit with a grill set up to cook over the fire. We stayed in the attached mini-suite. It was sooo comfortable! Private entrance, separate section of the back porch (which is a great spot to drink coffee and watch hummingbirds in the morning), impressive kitchen for small space, nice size fridge, great bathroom, and super comfy king size bed. My new favorite lakeside retreat; I'll definitely be back!
We stayed in the red tin roof house. The owers are super nice but not intrusive, Geri is a fine art painter, and the walls have many of her paintings. The place inspired me to do a dry-erase picture of one of the several cats on the property.
If you love animals (we do), there are a couple that we met and fell in love with. Geronimo, the cat, is an affable and laid-back gentleman. If you let him in, he will be your cuddle cat. He took turns with all six of our kids and never got cross. Buster is a Golden mix and a talkative good boi. He seems to like ear scritches best.
There is a good launch spot onto Lake Murray for kayaks and canoes, and the little blue A frame on the property looked cozzy for a couple.
They are also working on a glamping spot and camp area.
We'd definitely come back!
I’ve stayed at this place half a dozen times now. Every time I come, it’s better than last great for kids, families, couples, what’s most amazing about this spot is that it feels like you’ve got your own private lake back here behind the bridge can’t see enough about these people in this place if you need to relax and get away for a week or a night this is the place to go.
It’s a very wonderful place to stay at. There were kayaks for us to use and enjoy the beautiful river which was arranged by the owners. They are a very warm couple and very nice to arrange everything we needed. They responded really fast even in the middle of the night when we had trouble to lit up the bonfire.

We were needing a little getaway from our busy schedule and decided this might be a great place to relax, unwind, and unplug. Let me tell you WOW, we were blown away and it was the most amazing vacation getaway ever.
Jesse and Geri have a fantastic spot on the lake and it was the perfect place for my wife and I. The cabin was super clean, and they were so friendly. We will definitely be coming back and will be bringing our Frenchie next time because there is so much room for him to run and play. I can't wait.
