An absolutely stunning RV resort. A bit on the pricy side, but you get great amenities. the waterfront is excellent for all kind of activities. The pool is of the new design type, where the water level is flush with the floor. Wonderfull. The one thing we missed a bit was more grassy areas. All sites are surrounde by sharp, white pebbles. We were there for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Security is also good, with frequent patrols of the premises. They do a good job in keeping the place clean and keep the rift-raft away!
We stayed here in October 2013, at that time the park had only been open for about one year . We enjoyed the fact that the park was super clean, the staff was very friendly and the facilities were great. We towed our boat down with us and kept it in their marina which is located right on Florida Bay. It was shortly after Labor day and the park was mostly empty but we met some good people and had fun, staff even let us use their pick-up truck to ramp our boat into the water at their campsite boat ramp. My wife and I are planning another stay there this winter and hope they can accommodate us.
Very clean park and friendly staff. The sunsets are spectacular so be sure to be at beach area or pool as you don't want to miss. The entire park is rock/gravel. I personally like more "green". Pricey. Exercise room is really nice and includes a room for yoga. Pool is absolutely beautiful. Dog exercise area larger than most. The "beach" is man made and small. The photos make it seem like you are actually on a beach. Not so. Try not to have to do laundry. Very expensive and no commercial dryers. I dried my clothes an hour and they were still damp. Very clean restrooms. On a busy road but if you get a site close to water it is quiet at night. I like to walk in the morning but there are no places to walk outside the campground. VERY spacious sites. Poor WiFi.
LOVED IT!! Very clean, well kept lots, level and easily accessible well laid out hookups. Very friendly staff. Beautiful pool and waterfront spots offered a perfect view of the sunset. Bathrooms were air conditioned and well kept, but water pressure in showers left a lot to be desired. Small game room was clean, and nicely decorated with a welcoming feel. Exercise room was clean and had good equipment. It's a pet friendly park, but areas for walking them are specific, and the white rock, which seems to be the norm for the keys sites we've seen, was very hot and hard of their feet, which means they have to be carried most places. (at least our small breed dogs, not sure about the larger breeds). but there are "poo picker upper bags" and garbage receptacles located throughout, so no big deal. I will definitely add this site to my "must go back again soon" list of sites. Well worth the money in my book. Great job Management and staff for providing a very nice destination spot.
Very nice park, too bad they are tearing it down to build a hotel. The front desk said they would be closing May 1st 2017.
