In Janesville, CA, at intersection of US Rt. 395 and Janesville Grade (road), take Janesville Grade south 14.8 miles to Antelope Lake directional sign. Turn right after sign and go 1.6 miles to a "T" intersection. Turn right and go 5.6 miles to campground directional sign. Turn left and go 0.1 miles to campground on right.
Great visit. The lake is awesome. The camp sites are spacious and spread out nicely. Will definitely return.
We really enjoyed it here! Cute and comfortable little campsites with a fire ring, over the fire grill and picnic table. The campsites are pretty close together in some parts but far enough apart that you've got some privacy. The bathrooms were really well taken care of. The lake was absolutely beautiful with clear water and perfect temperature. Would highly reccomend!
Great campground, if you come from the Chico area, it is a long graded dirt road. Preload your GPS before leaving home as there is no cell reception.
Decent campground with fairly spaced out campsites. No bear boxes and only one dumpster located at the other campground for trash. Was very quiet and spotted a bald eagle a few times. Short walk or drive to the lake. Some tree cover which provided some shade. Only complaint is the camp host kept the generator running all night long. Lots of bugs at this campsite and no cell service(could be good or bad depending on the person)
