My family of about 40 stayed for a weekend reunion. There was plenty of space for all to be comfortable. Some used cabins some used tents and the best was having all the kids sleep together on cots in on large room on the property. Plenty of restrooms and showers for everyone. We all agreed that that this would be our future home for our reunions. Matt was very easy to work with and communicated well. There is a caretaker nearby and just a phone call away 24 hours. Our children are already wanting to go back. Loved it.

This is a wonderful family camping spot. What Matt has developed from a 100 year old former Boy Scout camp is great. There are climate controlled cabins for year round enjoyment, hiking trails, fully functional male and female bathroom accommodations. The dining/ kitchen building has everything a family or group needs. Also this camp is centrally located to explore the surrounding Arkansas state recreation areas. I highly recommend this camp. Reserve it soon for a wonderful experience they fill up fast.

Such an amazing place to spend time with family. Had our family reunion there last weekend, and everyone had a great time. The kids enjoyed getting to run around, and be free. They really enjoyed being able to hit the trail, and go be kids in the woods without worry. There was plenty of space for everyone, and plenty for everyone to do. Whether it be hiking, cooking, or just sitting around the fire pit, and relaxing. The cabins were perfect. Didn't get to hot or cold, and the simplicity of the cabins is amazing. Really feels like your able to get back to nature, and away from the city style life. Really looking forward to coming back next year.

Had an amazing weekend at this amazing campground. This is a great place to spend time with family and friends. The cabins are very clean and the beds are super comfy. It’s also close to the Talimena Scenic Byway.

Our group had a great time! Matt is an awesome host! He’s very welcoming and he made sure our stay was comfortable, and even brought us donuts! Best host ever! Highly recommend this place.

Matt has done a great job building this campground up over the past few years. This campground offers numerous cabins (with AC) and tent camp sites, whatever you desire for your group. It also has a full men’s and women’s latrine with toilets and hot showers. There is also a common building with a complete kitchen and dining area. Be sure to take advantage of the many hiking trails that lead down to the creek and river for a fun outing with your group. Overall this is a great place to stay to experience the beauty of the Oiachitas and the are that used to be a historic Boy Scoit Camp. My friends and I from out of state stay here once a year for a reunion and we thoroughly enjoy it. You will not regret staying in this campground!
