About Campground

Directions

Follow US-67 North from Little Rock to Jacksonville. Exit at the AFB exit (Exit 11) and follow signs through gate. Go straight ahead on Vandenberg Drive to Arnold Drive (first junction), turn left and follow Arnold Drive about 1.5 miles to CMSgt Williams Dr. (Family Camp Sign on your right). Turn right on CMSgt Williams Dr. then turn left at first road past gas station (don';t tuen into the parking lot) into Fam-Camp (look for sign). Check-in is at building 460 but you can find an empty space and call telling them you're there and leave your money in an envelope in the "iron ranger" by site 2 at the camp. Look for tags on posts at each site to determine unoccupied spaces.

It can be confusing to stay here if you are a first timer. There is an envelope you pick up at the bulletin board and you fill that out and put your payment in there. Then you take that and put it in the designated box in the laundry room that is behind the first row of camping spaces. This is a first come, first stay place. You can't make reservations or pay over the phone with a card. This is our 2nd stay here.

Great little Family camp. Some pull thru sites, other back in. All sites have water, power 30/50 amp, and sewer connections. Be sure to check your connections before unhooking, some of the sites have very long runs for sewer.

Camp host great--easily accessible, friendly and informative.

Campgrounds clean and quiet, and surrounded by trees!

Facilities very clean. Hot showers and a laundry facility.

Very nice, on-base, outdoor rec area. Playground and swingsets well shaded. Beautiful little area, and one of the only open playgrounds on-base as of this review. I don't have any experience with the camper parking, however.
