2 hour wait for food! Half an hour just to get menus and when I told the waitress we were ready to order since I looked up the menu, she walked away! I had to waive someone down about 10 minutes later just to ask for food/drinks. A table of 8 that arrived an hour after mine and 2 others near me was served first. Waitresses didn't check back for well over 30 minutes to check on you. They looked like 2 very young teenagers and obviously didn't know what they were doing. Ordered an appetizer to then be told maybe 20 minutes later they were all out. Then they told someone at our table as the food was being served that they didn't have any more mashed potatoes. They served one plate at a time as it was being cooked and I want to say it took about 5-10 minutes to get everyone's plates out on the table. Then to make matters worse we went to use the restroom and the female bathroom had a sink that was broken and held by duct tape and the toilet paper holders were torn off the wall. I went in the other female bathroom in the front of the restaurant and that one had female mensus blood all over the toilet and not flushed. I ended up using the male bathroom which was much better. The only positive thing about this trip was their famous "iced tea". I won't be coming back to eat, but might take the tea to go in the future. And no, management never came out to apologize or offer a free appetizer or anything. I only gave it 2 stars for the tea....which was 5 stars to me. Otherwise everything else was a 1.
Always a nice place to grab either a quick burger to go, or a nice sit-down meal with the family. The food is great and the staff has always been friendly. Beautiful location right near the water with access to everything you need for a day out on the lake. Don't forget to try the famous Pickerel Lake Iced Tea!
It is a bar, nothing fancy. Bar food, bar drinks. They do have live music quite often which is a great time. Their tea's are good. Nice place to stop on a fantastic and clean lake.
I was up in the area and tried to use online ordering, it wasn't working so I called to see if I could place an order. The person said yes and asked what I would like. I wasn't ready, so I asked if I could call back. Before I could finish, waitress interrupted and said "How about you call back because I'm busy " All I wanted was to ask a question, but got met with rudeness. So much for customer service...
Brittany at the bar was so friendly and awesome. Great service, good drinks
