We have stayed at many KOA's, but we found this to be our favorite one in AZ! The staff was amazing. Friendly atmosphere, attentive staff, and very helpful to the campers' needs. Although we have been in many five star resorts throughout AZ, we never experienced such a family orientated friendship.

I would highly recommend this auspicious KOA to even the most skeptical of travelers.

Well Maintained KOA! Neat and clean. Roomy sites! Staff is extremely pleasant, helpful and kind! They even deliver Amazon packages to your door! Heated pool and nice dog area to run in! We stayed 2 weeks and have scheduled a site for our return trip from California !

This place rocks ! Great friendly staff that takes pride in their work and it shows. Store, laundry area, showers, restrooms were spotless. Showers worked well. Pool was clean and a nice temp. Grounds were well manicured hand raked ,, as well as sports areas. Drives were raked as well making for a smooth drive. There is considerable noise from the highway and train but not unbearable. Fun attractions in the area.

All positive about this campground. My husband and I checked in 10/1/23 and stayed into January 2024. This lovely oasis is a hidden gem!!! This was our second time staying here. It feels like home!!! It’s centrally located between Phoenix and Tucson with plenty to keep one busy in and around Picacho. This campground is peaceful and quiet unlike those resort koa’s, which is one of the many reasons I ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ it SO much. I appreciate the quaint clubhouse where one can assemble puzzles, mingle with fellow campers, take care of laundry, watch TV, make a hot cup of coffee or a quick stop for a snack in the store. The restrooms are well maintained and very clean and the showers are top notch!!! There is also a heated pool (85 degrees) with a well kept deck and nice loungers. There is plenty of space in each site were you don’t feel cramped and the grounds are gorgeous with cacti, mature trees and some fruit trees as well. You can tell the staff and owners love their campground by the care they gave their KOA. This will always be a place I come back to for as long as I can. You enter as a camper and leave as family.
