Loved this place. It’s so nice and quiet. Stacey who runs it, is incredibly friendly. He takes the trash for you, and keeps the grounds clean. Has WiFi, 25 mins from Gainesville, 30 mins from Lake City, and an hour from Jacksonville. At night you can see what seems to be every star and the moon lights up the whole area. Also, there are some really nice parks not too far away, and beautiful springs you can visit. Def be back when I come thru Florida again. ❤️(sorry thought I had better pics)
We stayed here two nights while we attended our granddaughters cow show in Lake butler. It is only a 7 mile drive into lake butler, and close to the springs in the area. The camp sites are big and have three sections of privacy fence between each site. It was perfect and safe for our stay. The owner Stacy was very nice and helpful. When I asked when checkout was, he said' "take your time". Good ole southern hospitality that everyone should have. Will definitely recommend.
I wasn’t sure what to expect.. small park in a small town ... but I was very pleasantly surprised by the friendly, easy going, charisma of the park owner, Stacie (spelling)?
The park is very clean and I like the physical wooden fence privacy partitions they put between sites. These sites are definitely larger than you get nowadays at most RV parks as well. Plenty of room between campers. The dock at the pond is a nice place to sit and gather your thoughts.
The prices are the best I’ve ever experienced. The bathhouse worked great. I dont have to worry about cleaning my shower now when I get back home. It’s not a huge park, but, this day and age, I’m quietly pleased not to be in a place with 30,40,50,100 other campers.
I’ll definitely be back. Thanks for the hospitality, It’s good to see some nice, quaint, family owned operations out there that are this clean and this well run.

Stacey (owner) is the best. He works really hard keeping the park nice. It's great to not be near an interstate and having large sites with privacy fences for such a great price makes the extra distance from conveniences worth it. It's midway between Lake City and Gainesville, so you have plenty of options for shopping, etc, but it will take 20-40 minutes drive. Well worth it, though. The park rules are sensible and easy to follow and the overall feel of the place is that of a quiet place to yourself. No nosy neighbors around, strange but nice that everyone minds their own biz. We've been here for several months and expect to be here several more.
Been staying here for a couple of months now. Very nice location and each lot has its fence. Owner is a great guy and responds quickly. Definitely recommend !
