Love the atmosphere, but access is challenging. Wish it would change. Love it though. Mostly what I'd like to say about Palestine Pines is that it's now privately owned and I live very close to the area, we are not allowed down there, ie. the public. We all are neighbors and a peaceful community. Google maps shows the whole area in green and my RV park is in that green area mostly Palestine Pines is the area of County Road 1182 that goes around the lake road bending round the lake and there is a campground at the end of the lake that isn't used, it has Lake access it's a beautiful area and it has wonderful people here and there. And here where I am are rental places we are located in a smaller park up the street and it is a wonderful place to be,and live!
