From town: Go 10 mi W on Arkabutla Rd. Follow signs N to the dam.
DO NOT CAMP HERE!
You have been warned.
Do not listen to the 5 star reviews, they are fake.
The worst campsite we have stayed in by far.
When we arrived it was like a ghost town with a few RV's and by the looks of it some hobo's living in a caravan.
Toilets were dirty (although on a good note there was plenty of toilet paper)
Showers were so outdated dark and dirty.
Do not stay here find somewhere else, We recommend KOA
The first site they gave us was to small and we couldn't get ahold of anyone no one was at gate another trailer came in 45 ft long tried to park forever tried to get in touch with some one couldn't so they saw the site beside them was vacate so they moved there fire a day bathrooms were clean but the spot they had us in was not really ready for campers cause we rode around and the other side hade area on both side for you had concrete to park camper but over all it was good for price
Nice place to camp. Quiet during the week. Some of the handicap showers have a chair on a rail, which makes it difficult to use the stall. Facilities are clean and have good showers.
