It's a shame that it's so run down. Such a pretty area that needs a lot of maintenance and construction. The restrooms were all closed but one and the showers were closed in the one that was open.
35 minutes from Memphis. Well kept camping ground on one side and on the other side recently renovated park area with a view of the lake and valley at every angle. Boat rentals the works. It's beautiful.
It is a beautiful park, we went for Memorial day weekend and it was full but everyone was quiet after 10pm. The large beach had a lot of people but didn't feel crowded. The restrooms and showers leave a bit to be desired but they are functional. We will definitely stay again.
Wonderful and relaxing place. Clean swimming beaches. Perfect boating water. Lots of places to picnic and the campgrounds are a good size. There is a restaurant called rafters on the water. The lake is huge. There’s a few trails. 10/10 would recommend.
