Take Arkansas Hwy. 23 south from Booneville, AR for 2 miles; turn left (east) on Arkansas Hwy. 116 for 1 mile; then south at sign on paved County Road for 4 miles; then 3 miles south on Forest Service Road 19 (gravel).
I'm very beautiful place I would recommend has restrooms and parking
Im so sorry they closed down the overnight camping here. Still, people swim there a lot in the summer. There are a couple of vault toilets.
It's a small little day use site with bathroom and a small swimming area. Due to flash flooding potential, they do not allow camping at the site. There is not a pavilion or really anything else.
The thing about knoppers Ford is its nature. It does have a bathroom. It is very primitive and Backwoods at this site . at one time it had a lot of WPA works, specifically Stone. At one time they had little screen houses for camping but those are all gone now. You are not allowed to camp at knoppers Ford because of the danger of flash flooding. The Rock and pools here vary from very full and flowing to a trickle depending on the time of the year. It is absolutely one of my favorite places.
Great swimming hole, I actually enjoyed it much better than I usually do at Jack Creek. Will be headed here from now on.
