We were there as seasonal for 2 seasons. We stayed there as transit prior and the owners were very nice at that time. First season was okay except for 4th of July weekend. We had our kids and grandkids visiting. There was a transit site that had rowdy people that were doing burnouts on the road in front of our site near our grandkids. My husband went to the store and complained to Karen and nothing was done about it . They did not care about the safety of our grandkids at all which was disgusting. Our last season there was beyond horrible. The whole time we were there we dealt with sewage smells and while we mentioned this to the owners- they did not care. Water pressure was terrible and again when mentioning it to the the owners adult son who also works for the campground - he said "what do you want me to do" . Also we were told before we became seasonal that their WiFi would improve- since there is NO WiFi unless you are directly in front of the store. The WiFi never even improved at all. The owners and their "cult" group treated my family and visitors with total disrespect and downright rudeness. They made up lies about us and tried to spread them around , however, we made some friends there and they all knew the truth . After they started spreading lies about our family, they were harassing us by continuously staring us down and making it uncomfortable for us to participate in any of the planned events that we paid for when we paid our seasonal site fees. The owners and workers also sat in the site next to one of our seasonal sites and tried to intimidate us every night that we spent there until our very last night trying to make it so uncomfortable for us to even sit and have a campfire with our family and friends . One of their workers- a family member, walked around the campground yelling at people and calling them stupid after he had been drinking at one of his buddy's seasonal sites. The campground is run very unprofessionally since it was sold to Karen and Dave.

Out of our 16 day trip, this was our favorite campground. I called to let them know we wouldn't be getting in till 7 pm. That was no problem for him and he was sitting outside the office waiting for us. Quick check in and very friendly. He gave us a sweet spot for our over night stay. Everything worked well. I loved the tall trees which gave such a forest feel to the campground. We really liked it here

The staff are very kind and helpful. The campground has a lot of permanent residents and the care placed in these residences varies.

Their electricity is not great. I know they said they are working on upgrades and that they cannot get they correct amount of power they need from the power company. Visiting in fall might be a better solution.

They have amazing WiFi.

I would not have gone with the site I had if 8 had known about the DJ dance party right in front of my site until the late hours on Saturday night. This is a personal preference and doesn't reflect on the campground, but my family is normally asleep by 9 and the loud booming bass made that impossible.

Laundry on site. $3.00/wash & $2.00/dry. I went into Dover and did my laundry much cheaper as I had many loads thanks to a month-long trip.

Overall, I'd stay there again, but in the fall. The owners are wonderful people, so give them a chance if you live in the area.

Been coming here since I was a kid and now bring my own kids. Always have a great time! Staff is very friendly, accommodating, and personal! 10/10 would recommend for a great fun filled family weekend! Only gripe is they don't make homemade soda anymore, but not the end of the world.

I’m not sure of his name, but the owner stayed late to accommodate our late arrival. He promptly showed us to our spot and closed the shop. He seems like a genuinely good guy; we had a nice chat for a minute. The campground offers Wi-Fi and charging ports at every site, and it’s pleasantly secluded. Whether you’re into RV camping or tent camping, they’ve got you covered. It’s worth noting that -IF- there are noises at night, it’s not the owner’s fault but rather fellow campers. Although we won’t be able to partake in the daytime activities, we appreciate knowing they’re available. The bathrooms are clean (surprisingly for a campground), and the on-site store is well-stocked. Overall, the campground exudes positive vibes.
