Great place to tent camp and for RVs. It's all about the site if you're in a tent. Some are flat and close to the beach. Some are inclined, and others have car headlights shine right into your site.

This is a really nice campground. It's so close to the beach. It has clean bathrooms and showers. Just but tokens to shower. $1 gives you 2 tokens worth 3 minutes each. One shower stole my tokens and never showered me but I let it go. No plug ins so bring solar chargers or box. It was cold and hot. We were mostly cold and had to buy a lot of firewood. 7/11 had the best deal. There are fire pit on each site. People stay up way past the 10pm quiet time but it wasn't a big deal to us. Check in is super easy and check out as well. We really enjoyed the pathways that lead to the beach very pretty. At night you can also walk the beach, it's magical. A few sketchy people but no theft on this trip. I had heard many reviews about theft but thankfully had nothing stolen. Stores are conveniently located. It's a great spot. It feels removed and yet you are so close to the center. I would definitely recommend this place.

This year, my son and I headed out for the week to meet up with our central coast family. I really appreciated our neighbors for respecting "quit time" it made my 8 year old son experience that much better. The restrooms and showers were kept clean and in working condition. We will definitely book another stay for 2024. The only thing I didn't like was the parking situation. Driving out with a trailer limited our parking permit. A vehicle and trailer should be counted as 1, not as 2.

Pretty nice campground. Restrooms and showers were nice (which require tokens to work, 2 tokens for a dollar. 4 minutes). Some homeless people come into the campground to use showers it seemed like in the morning. At least they were people outside the campground, might not have been homeless. Also RV people across from us had their generator stolen our first night there. We didn't have any issues.

A hidden gem for rv'ers or van campers in and around pismo Beach. As you enter the property, the town disappears and you are in a beautiful, low density, park, with the huge, wide open beach a very brief walk away.
