Located 20 miles south of Yerington on Highway 208.
We went there hoping to see some desert lizards. We saw sooo many different kinds on the loop walk. We went on our hike mid-week and saw one other person on the trail. Will do this hike again!
My parents and I lived in Smith Valley from 1949 to 1956. We went through Wilson Canyon many times
going to/from Yerington. I'm currently 77 years old,
living in the Philippines.
