Pretty, quiet on a weekday in March. We came to hike the trail...and that could have been better marked. Very loose rocks on steep climbs so wear hiking boots.

Not a lot of trees for shade but great camp site. Sites came with their own fire pit and grill. Restroom is clean and there are multiple of them. Kids loved the area. Near dock

Host was very friendly. Helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Clean restrooms. This is not used enough. They have closed down 3 loops from non use. Very nice site. Had room for my 34 foot fifth wheel. Boat ramp nearby. Rentals available in just about any size. House boat to fishing boat. Small grill and store.

Flush toilets and potable water available. No trees for hammock camping. I really enjoyed the quiet of the place. If you need showers and amenities, bring your own as the ranger station is closed. Only 2 First-Come sites, but making a reservation on the fly isn't difficult.

Also, cell phone worked for me most of the time... sometimes I had to restart my phone.
