Our trip was awesome! We went with a couple families, and the connected campsites were perfect! The camp host was nice, and the river was gorgeous! It’s close distance to the mountains was really nice for day hikes! The only downside was the fire ban, but we were able to make s’mores over a camp stove so it was all good 👍. Definitely recommend staying here!

TIP to anyone that makes reservations and shows up at this campground when its busy season. Mark your reservation site with something. When we arrived there was no camp host so we drove to our site and saw it was empty and thought nothing of it. We took off to do a hike. 6 hrs later returned and it was around 8pm. The campsite was occupied by someone else. We located the camp host and were able to sort out the situation. However for anyone that reserves and finds themselves in such a situation like ours. Make sure you mark your campsite with a tent or chair. Otherwise like previous reviewers have mention. Lots of bugs right now. Especially mosquitos and the mice are around too.

This is THE MOST beautiful campsite we've ever stayed at, that's why I absolutely hate leaving this 3 star review. Everything about our stay here was wonderful, except for the terrible campground host! We stayed here for 2 nights and upon arrival the host "greeted" us and made it abundantly clear that since we had a travel trailer, that if we had a generator we could only use it from 8-6pm, which is not what the Mt.Baker forest supervisor office had told me, they assured us we could use it until 10pm. The reason we were in the area is because we were getting married the next day and would be using the generator for a few things in the morning to get ready. Around 9am the next day, the host stopped by the campsite and made the very rude comment that he couldn't hear the river over our generator and wish people wouldn't come there with them. Our generator is probably one of the most quiet ones we've ever heard, that's the reason we bought it. But the story doesn't end there. Around 2pm, the host comes by AGAIN and very rudely said that he couldn't take his nap with the sound of our generator running. The whole interaction with him was awful! His presence and his backhanded comments really ruined our stay. GET HIM OUT OF THERE! We would return if it wasn't for him!

On another note, we stayed at site #11 and it was perfect for our 19ft travel trailer, but you probably couldn't fit anything much bigger. We had access to the river from our site and it was absolutely beautiful!

Stayed at campsite #1 for a couple nights. Great access to the river, had both clean campgrounds and bathrooms, and easy to reserve at a reasonable price.

Stayed at #11. Feels secluded with easy river access and lots of trees to hang a hammock! Pit toilet smelled good and was clean. Would be nice if hand sanitizer is provided.
