It was honestly breathtakingly beautiful. So solemn. The water and waves were perfect.
Stopped by for a night on a Monday. Had the whole campground to ourselves. The place is small but beautiful. The host Colton brought out a telescope for my kids to look through and was very friendly. Would stay again if I was passing through.
Went on a hot summer day, water was cold and refreshing. Wind was blowing so floats were getting blown out into deep waters, luckily some very nice ladies were helping folks out, including us. But still beautiful and so much fun to swim, kayak, boat. Recommend to anyone and everyone.
It was a fantastic place and a wonderful day to come out and swim, The water is a bit cold at first, but you'll get used to it as the time goes by when you're swimming.
I suggest people to come swim her more often, I only suggest about the place is needing a bigger parking space for more cars and trucks.
But over all This place a fantastic place to go swimming.
Simple little campground in Eastern Montana with great sky views. No shade, no running water, two pit toilets, electric sites, one water pump that can be attached to a hose for filling a fresh water tank. It would be great if each site had a sun shelter over the picnic table. But, the sites look out on a small lake, and it was fabulous watching a storm roll in and the rainbow that followed. Basic camping, with great views. Four stars instead of five because of the lack of shade.
