Our family loves Itasca State Park. This time of year is so spectacular. June is lovely time to go, however you will need mosquito repellent.
Gorgeous campground, proabbaly the best one in Itasca state park, we started at another one last year. However the bugs are quite awful at this one since it’s close to the water, so be prepared! And by bugs, I mean horse flies :(
We loved this campground nice level spots super clean shower and rest rooms, also sandy area to go swimming with the kids!
Great place for quality family time. Bring the water toys, bicycles, and your hiking boots, this place has it all. Itasca Sports has everything to rent if you don't have it. Restrooms are clean with great showers.
Best campground in Itasca State Park! Close to water, very clean and easy to get around. The bathrooms and showers are plentiful and clean. I was incredibly impressed with the facilities and how nice everyone was in the campground. While the campsites are a bit more "open," than other campgrounds, the convenience of the location in the park is amazing.
