Manzano Mountain Retreat is a unique Mountain property set in the foothills of the Manzanos just an hour outside of Albuquerque. We have 16 cabins on 178 Acres with nearly 100 of that available for tent camping. There are four, 30 and 50 amp RV pedestals outside our east orchard near the gymnasium and pool. The area is flat and open, making parking a camper or RV relatively easy. We also have a water spigot that is not too far away so tanks can be filled upon request.
Also onsite is a mercantile store for snacks, drinks, and toiletries along with a restaurant that is open for our overnight guests with advance reservations.
With 40 Acres of Apple Orchard and a pond, the property offers serenity in a way you may never expect just outside Albuquerque.
This restaurant deserves 5 stars! All restaurant staff had amazing hospitality! The food was very high quality with very fulfilling serving sizes! Not to mention the breath taking views and beautiful drive! Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!
We came for a tour and got so much more!!! This is an awesome place! From the views to the wildlife we had plenty to see. The apple store was fun. Great place for a wedding, camping or just sitting on the porch having dinner. It is so peaceful and gorgeous here. We will be back!!
A beautiful place to have a wedding with inexpensive accommodations to stay over night! The staff helped us set up everything for my sisters wedding and also made it a mini vacation for my family. We had the best time with our 4 kids in their newly renovated cabins! We were spoiled with delicious meals and out of this world accommodations. Definitely can’t wait to come back again with my family to enjoy the beautiful scenery, trails, and Manzano mountain retreat!
Just completed a week long youth leadership camp here. The owners are so kind and polite, they are helpful and supportive. The cabins are great! It’s a great place to host a retreat or camp. They also have an amazing little store to buy things you may need or want.
We had our wedding at Manzano Mountain Retreat on November 4th, 2023. Noelle, Janette, Annie, Jesse, and the rest of the staff were absolutely incredible. They accommodated all of our last minute adjustments and even plated and served our reception dinner when asked (even though they'd never done it before!). Noelle and the team checked in with my husband and I the perfect amount, they were always right there with answers if we had any questions. They struck the perfect balance of amazing service and letting us enjoy our day with friends and family. It was so wonderful to not have any anxiety about if people would love the food, the venue, or the location, and our guests raved about all 3. Jesse is a fabulous chef and you WILL want them to cater the food for you, I promise.
Having lodging on site was perfect for our out of town family, and the distance from Abq was perfect for accommodating Abq locals while feeling far enough out to be a get-away. We were joined by wild turkeys, deer and their fawns, squirrels, hawks, and all the wildlife Manzano Mountains have to offer. A squirrel ran down the dirt path leading to my ceremony site ahead of me, felt like a little furry escort.
If you're looking for a no-stress and all inclusive wedding venue that feels rustic and cozy, this is the place. They let us bring our pups, and only had a small pet fee for our guests who wanted to bring along their furry kiddos. They have wonderful decorations to use, but we only set out some flameless candles and the beautiful lodge did the rest! There's an outdoor space directly adjacent to the lodge with string lights and a fire pit, it was very natural for our guests to wrap up dinner and wander outside for cornhole, marshmallows, and stargazing.
Our 50-person wedding was the most magical day. It wouldn't have happened or gone so smoothly without the Manzano team. We cannot recommend them highly enough!
