Unplug from the city to soak up in nature and experience Ashley's treehouse at El Mistico Ranch. El Mistico Ranch consist of 30 acres of natural high desert land with natural spring waters, nearby Lincoln National Forest as our next door neighbor, you are actually just a short drive to Capitan for basic services and shopping; Ruidoso for arts, golf, dining, skiing, and more. The climate is mild here and the property is vegetated with pinon pine, juniper, and a variety of cacti.
The space
Ashley’s Tree house is part of El Místico Ranch which is on the last northern ridge of the Sierra Blanca or Sacramento Mountains and sits on a 7,300’ elevation. Balcony views catch amazing sunrises and views of the Lincoln national forest and its vegetated hills full of pinon pine, juniper, and a variety of cacti. Star gazing at its finest, minimal light pollution creates crystal clear night sky for star and moon gazers. Guest can explore the near by national forest or hike the most prominent Nogal Peak crest trail w/ a 9,600’ elevation.

Other things to note
Please note there is a 5 minute walk from parking area to Ashley'sTreehouse. We provide carts to help with bags. It is important to check Nogal, N.M. weather so you know what to expect when arriving to El Mistico. Bringing a flashlight can help if you arrive after sunset. If you need special assistance please contact us via message. TAKE SHORT SHOWERS. WARM WATER LASTS ABOUT 2 mins.
Low roofing sitting at only 6’4” tall inside the Tree House. Door entry 6’. Spiral staircase at its most compact point is only 5’9” tall. So taller guest watch out for your head!

Everything was amazing. The views were beautiful, it was very peaceful and relaxing.
Mistico Ranch has small trails on the property with amazing views. Ashley's treehouse is features modern decor and a nice porch to enjoy the views and star gaze. Small drive to a man made lake, Bonito lake was closed. 15min drive into Ruidoso for eating and shopping.
We stayed in the crows nest at the El Mistico ranch, and it was wonderful. Highly recommend this place. The coziness and peacefulness of this place are unmatched. Prefect for a star gazer like my self
Everything was so beautiful and the stay was perfect. The owner was so kind to us. It was the perfect weekend. Casita mística stole my heart. It was a great get away.
