FROM I-40 EAST Big rigs (exit 280) Hwy 56 at Baxter and go north to Hwy 70N. Take a left (west) and come down to Hwy 53 at Chestnut Mound. Take a right and come to Granville. We are on the left past the city limit sign.
Nice little campground, basic but clean and tidy. The town of Granville is worth a visit. Quaint little town with old fashion shops.
My family is full time RV, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with this place. It’s mostly long term work campers who are never around or a weekend couple in the area to enjoy the historic Granville area. All the sites are well kept and they don’t appear to be long term/seasonal stays at all. They serve tasty Hunts Brothers pizza W-S, the staff are more than friendly and helpful and the people who stay here, even though they are long term, they are quiet, friendly and good company. They have showers and laundry on site. There is space for extra parking for guests. We changed to a larger rig a couple of months into our stay and the owner offered to allow us to put our belongings inside their building for the day to help accommodate our move. They’ve had a social gathering since we’ve been here and everyone I’ve met is a compassionate, hardworking person. The internet is also the BEST I’ve had at ANY campground I’ve been at long term over the last 2 years. You’ll enjoy the peace and quiet, my kids swim in the river almost daily and we enjoy fires, pizza, hot showers and all that the area has to offer. Nashville and the surrounding areas is FULL and it’s hard to come by an RV park, let alone a good one and we honestly feel blessed and that we got lucky getting a spot out here in Granville. I have my family coming out this fall! NOBODY will bother you here! It’s a little jaunt to get out here but you won’t be disappointed. Everyone here are great people
Sights are not very level and no air tv channels could be picked up, there was also no wifi ( okay with campgrounds) and no cable.
My family and I loved our stay! The owner and host(Sharron) are fantastic, We became great friends and can't wait to try out their other park. We will definitely be back. Very clean park and quiet!
Great location if you are visiting Granville, TN. The shower stalls in the bath house were a little to open for our liking. The sites are somewhat tight. They are currently renovating (as of May 2023) not all sites have been updated. Sharron (the camp host?), was great and was helpful. There is Hunt Brothers Pizza on site, if you're looking for a quick meal.
