Thank you Shannon! Me and my mom stayed for a few days and we were originally tenting but because of rain we worried it would be horrible. Shannon came to our rescue and hooked us up with an adorable little cabin it was perfect!! Rain and shine we had a wonderful time, they also gave us plenty of ideas on what to do during our stay. I also want to say the restrooms can usually be suspicious but at lost River camp the bathrooms were well kept, clean, and no bugs!! We will be back for sure!
We stayed here for a few days in May of this year and had a beautiful campsite with gorgeous, fresh green mountain views. The site was clean, well maintained, and all utilities worked well. The people that work here were all friendly and helpful.
Our only complaint was that the showers were coin-op and very outdated. They accept quarters only (I think?) but at least there's a change machine in the arcade/games room. The water was nice and hot, though, the water pressure was better than most campgrounds we've stayed at over the past few years, and the amount of time per quarter was reasonable. Still, the whole thing was kind of a pain.
We LOVED our experience at Lost River Valley Campground! The campground is located near awesome hiking trails and sits amongst the most amazing babbling brook. It is the cure for everything! This campground brings to life all your senses! It is a little piece of heaven set amongst this majestic landscape of the White Mountains. The initial welcome greeting, with the "happy you are here gifts" for humans ( a bag of freshly popped popcorn and for the furry family, (a bag of specially made dog treats) are a sweet personal touch. The facilities are extremely clean and accessible. We will be returning for years to come!
Beautiful campground! Absolutely wonderful owners and staff! We had checked out already, pulled away and had a tire blow. We turned around and they helped us to make calls to get things repaired, the owners were so accommodating and helpful with our toddler and infant, and even changed our tire to the spare for us so we could get to the tire store for a replacement (he recommended a fantastic place that was very helpful to us). I can’t say enough great things about how wonderful The Lost River Valley Campground is, and can’t wait to go back!
