Nice trail and hike. Take PLENTY of tic spray. Picked 25+ from myself. Of the 4 of us the person that had the least still picked 11 off her.
I Haven't hiked here in a while but the trails are perfect for running on especially in the winter because the road get plowed and there are sections closed to snowmobiles.
Not much room for parking, but it's a nice spot with a scenic view from the foot bridge spanning the Androscoggin River.
Plenty of parking, so that's good, but the four wheelers with all their noise and dust...not so good. The Mahoosuc trail to Mt Hayes and beyond is awesome.
This is a very quite and at sometimes challenging trail. Lots of flats great trail with not a lot of rocks in spots but does have rock scrambles. Bring water stay hydrated and you'll be fine. Great views and some river crossings.
