The park is right on the water next to a marina.
They now have two swim locations, Boat ramp & dock, ball fields and courts, bathrooms, an exercise location, picnic areas, playground, walking trail, etc. They are putting in camper/RV spots. But word is there will not be tent campsites available.
No dogs on beach but they can go adjacent to it. The beach and water are beautiful!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL park! There's even a beach for swimming n kids to play, build sand castles, frisbee, whatever! N at the cleanest lake in the whole state! Can't really beat that in my opinion!.. I love it personally for the great fishing and beautiful scenery most of all!
Need a day to relax at the lake with the children stay on the tiny beach or conveniently launch your boat pack a lunch or grill out across the street at the pavilion. Small playground, basketball court, baseball field. Clean restrooms.
First time visited, we had a lovely time. We were on the side with children's play center on one side, bathroom's and exercise equipment on the other. Pick nick tables and a grill. Over the hill the lake, where the kids could swim and the EMT right next door for all the scraped toes from the concrete. 😆 For the forth,that side wasn't crowded. We all loved it. Will go back soon.
