Gorgeous views of both NC and TN and beyond. The gravel road is easily negotiated with even a 2 wheel drive vehicle in dry conditions. Well worth driving up to just to see the views.
Beautiful place to watch the sunrise or sunset. You can hike the Appalachian Trail in either direction and there are some great wooded areas to put up a hammock and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Beauty Spot Gap was a fantastic view. Well worth the drive and short hike. What a great view of the Mountains. Even more so with fall colors. To see this from the Appalachia Trail makes it even more special .
Fantastic views, get there early as the parking lot is small. The road was gravel and had some rough patches. Bring a picnic lunch and some bug spray and enjoy the view.
