Take Hwy 20, exit on Business Loop 20 into Toledo. Turn south at the traffic light, follow Butler Bridge Road past Georgia-Pacific paper mill. Turn left at all Y- intersections staying on Elk City Road for approximately eight miles. The park will be on the north side of the road.
Stumbled open this campground on a forest drive. Is now one of my favorites. Very tidy, has flushing toilets a boat launch and 12 sites. Camp host has Huge wheelbarrow loads of firewood for 5 bucks. Met some town locals with great history stories to tell
I have finally gone camping here, lived somewhat near by my whole life but had never been. It's a very lax camp ground, the grounds keeper is very kind, friendly and easy to talk to. The park is clean and for those who like simple, this park is a great spot to camp or even just enjoy the sunshine playing in the water.
Great place to camp. Its not a very wooded area but still nice to be outdoors. They have 24/7 bathrooms with flushing toilets. The host sells bundles of firewood for $5. There is a boat launch available and you can swim in the area as well. No cell reception. Definitely would visit again. First come first serve. $25 a night.
Beautiful, peaceful and Serene. A nice quiet place, great camping spots and nice bathroom facilities.
